MOD_PHP update

Post by WillemGrooters »

On c.o.v. there has been a message that there will be a MOD_PHP 1.3 update that _should_ address a number of issues. At the end of this year, a release of PHP5(.2?) is planned.
Time for testing....
Hopefully, there will be building procedures as well in tyhe sourcekits.

Seconded.

Personally, the UTF-8 support within the PCRE module is what I'm waiting for as this is required by phpBB3 and would allow me to move forward with this board infrastructure.

The current Joomla is also complaining about this issue, so far only in some of the administration screens.

"Warning: compilation failed: this verison of PCRE is not compiled with PCRE_UTF8 support at offset 0 in /web11/domainname/libraries/phputf8/native/core.php at line 151"

However changes take place and the site runs so its not apparently a drop dead issue with this package.

Other than performance (doggy), the actual user side is running decently on my fully updated V8.2 DS10L.
