OpenVMS VAMP Board

We have much of VAMP running successfully on OpenVMS V8.4 and V8.4--2L1.

On our primary system we are using the following:

PHP V5.6.17 - ported to VMS by Mark Berryman
Apache V02.065 from the HP CSWS02021
MariaDB V5.5.25 - ported to VMS by Mark Berryman

Try downloading the newest MYSQL 5.1 from http://www.pi-net.dyndns.org/

It is much more stable than the earlier releases.

MediaWiki is not crashing it, although there are some other packages that cause it to crash. JFP has a forum set-up with more information.

We have installed the current JAVA/Jakarta/Tomcat/ from HP and the JAVE release is 1.4.2.

We downloaded the latest patches and they are to all JAVA 1.5 to be used. We can not find such for the IA64.

We are trying to install opentaps on our IA64.

We had too many problems attempting to get phpMyadmin that we have abondoned it and are using a very simple package: MYSQL-Client
